The location of the lake is on the outskirts of thetford off the A11 north bound carriageway between the B1107 brandon road junction and the A134 kingslynn junction 100 yards past the river bridge on the left IP241QA
since the take over by the new owner a keen angler himself there have be some fantastic in provements.the building of new chipped and log edge swims improving disabled access and parking around the lake most swims the river side can accommodate wheel chair users there are plans for one more platform swim for the future. also planting of trees and reeds lillys to create a fish friendly environment where they can grow on to become the fish of a life time we are all hopefully going to catch .
the fish are now packing on the pounds with the removal of the small carp over the last 12 months , new upper 20lb fish will be stocked during 2009 ( hand picked english mirrors ) the race is still
on for one of the original fish to hit 30lb+ there are a least 9 close to it!!!!
