Since the take over by the new owner a keen carp angler himself there have be some fantastic improvements.the building of new chipped and log edge swims improving parking and access around the lake ,most swims the river side can be parked behind .The lake has an otter fence around the site with gates to access swims the river side.the
planting of reeds ,lillys to create a fish friendly environment .In 2007/2008 fish stock has been added with english priory carp all hand picked mirrors. Early 2010 the lake has been netted to remove a quantity of small carp and large bream ,the stocking of specimen carp is an ongoing project for the future.The lake is 4.5 acres with depths for 2ft to 15ft with many under water features and a central island. The lake location is on the outskirts of thetford 35 miles from norwich ,kingslynn,and cambridge on the edge of the thetford forest and the littleouse river.
